From the library of the presumed author of this report Edward Willett with his label mounted on the front cover. Willett was the Senior Consulting Engineer and Program Director at Fairchild. Fairchild Systems was a United States defense contractor. The San Francisco Chronicle described the company as "one of the legendary names of Silicon Valley" and noted that its Bay Area operations were a training ground for the engineers who went on to found Intel and other top semiconductor companies.
