Hardcover, bound in color pictorial boards backed with a black cloth spine and with black silk ties. The cover illustration depicts Puss, attired in a red cape, pulling on his golden orange boots next to a white cloth sack as a bunny rabbit peeks on from the foreground. A castle is visible in the background. The covers are rubbed and the spine is stained. A carousel fold-out book with 6 peepshow scenes depicting Puss in Boots' adventures. Each scene contains three color illustrated layers behind a decorated green front panel with text printed within a white panel along the bottom. The book folds out into a carousel with both the front and back covers touching to reveal the three-dimensional peepshow featuring Puss in Boots efforts on behalf of his master, the Marquis of Carabas. The cat defeats the ogre to claim the estate for the miller's son (now the Marquis), earning him the king's favor and Princess's hand. There is some minor dampstaining to the bottom edge of the inner panels and a tear to the left edge of the last text panel. Good. Good .
