The book can be sealed with a plastic "bone" closure attached to the covers with a cloth ribbon & loop. The top edge is dyed red. There is very minor soiling & staining to the cover. [32] unnumbered leaves printed on one side only on stiff card stock, with the text and illustrations on facing pages. The book is illustrated with a black & white pictorial title page and 16 full-page color plates by Louis Wain. There is some occasional light soiling and the text block is lightly shaken. Near fine.
