First editions, first printings of volumes 1 & 2 of an eventual 6 volume set of the first collected edition of F. Scott Fitzgerald's works. The set was published from 1958 through 1963, with these first two volumes published in 1958 & 1959.
In addition to an introduction by J.B. Priestley, volume one includes: "May Day", "The Diamond as Big as the Ritz", "The Great Gatsby", "The Crack-Up", "Crazy Sunday", and "The Last Tycoon". Volume two includes: "Tender is the Night", the "Autobiographical Pieces": "My Lost City", "Echoes of the Jazz Age", "Ring", and "Early Success", the "Letters to Frances Scott Fitzgerald", and the "Short Stories": "The Last of the Belles", "Pat Hobby Himself", "An Alcoholic Case" and "Financing Finnegan". Very good .
