Description: - The close of a letter penned on 2-18 inch high by 8-1/2 inch wide lined buff paper clipped from the bottom of a page. Isidore de Lara has written and signed "I am Yours Very Sincerely Isidore de Lara" on the roughly cut sheet of paper. There are a couple of faint spots of foxing and the shadow of a word along the bottom of the sheet. Folded twice vertically with remnants of mounting paper pasted to the top of the verso. Good.

Isidore de Lara (1858-1935) was an English composer and singer. Born Isidore Cohen he was successful during the 1890's composing music for the opera in Monte Carlo. "Messaline" (1899) was his most popular opera. Good .
