The faintly warped covers are rubbed with some uneven fading. 40 pages plus an additional 8 pages printed on green stock, profusely illustrated in black & white with images of Gonzalez' work. Very good.

The foreword is by Sir Norman Reid. There are extracts from "Gonzalez: First Master of the Torch" by David Smith. Notes on Gonzalez are contributed by Roberta Gonzalez and Hans Hartung.

The Spanish sculptor Julio Gonzalez (1876-1942) is known for the creative use of iron in his work. Very good .
