Full early brown calf with raised bands on the spine. The rubbed and scuffed covers are detached with wear to the corners and tail of the spine. xv, [i] & 286 pages, with page "vi" misnumbered "vii" and page "198" misnumbered "298", as issued. Pages "vii-viii" is a publisher's advertising leaf listing "Books Printed and Sold by Benjamin Gunne". The title page is detached, but present. An early owner's name is penned at the top of the title page and there are extensive annotations penned in an early hand on the last 6 blank leaves. There is some minor creasing or rippling to the pages. Good.
