The edges of the covers are very lightly rubbed and the corners creased. The spine is slightly rolled with minor chipping to the head & tail of the spine. 184 pages, profusely illustrated in color and black & white throughout. The corners of the pages are bumped with the bottom corners of several pages lightly creased. Very good.

Among the contents is an essay on "American Woolen" and "Worsted Weaving" (page 65), illustrated with black & white and color photographs by Margaret Bourke-White. An essay on the "Normandie" (page 84) is well illustrated with 10 color drawings of the French cruise ship. A profusely illustrated article on "Bryn Mawr College" begins on page 89. Worth noting is a photo of Jack Benny by Willim Haussler advertising Jell-O and "Jack Benny's Jell-O Program". A color ad for Camel Cigarettes (page 123) features Lou Gehrig and a full-page ad illustrated by Lemuel Thomas depicts cats with a boy & girl on a swing. Very good .
