Description: February 9, 1893. 1893. - Senator David B. Hill's autograph penned with the date on 1-3/4 inch high by 3-1/2 inch wide buff card stock. The autograph was likely once mounted into an album as evidenced by tape remnants to the edges of the verso. Very good.

The American politician David Bennett Hill (1843-1910) was Governor of the State of New York from 1859 to 1891. Hill launched an unsuccessful campaign for the Presidency in 1892, losing the nomination to Grover Cleveland and was subsequently elected to the U.S. Senate, serving as a Senator from New York from 1892 to 1897. Very good .
