Author: Phelps, William Lyon. (1865-1943). American author, critic and scholar. Title: Glossy Press Photo Inscribed and Signed by American Author, Critic and Scholar William Lyon Phelps.
Description: 1933. 1933. - A 5-1/2 inch high by 3-1/2 inch wide glossy press photo is inscribed, signed and dated by Phelps: "Yours [?] Wm Lyon Phelps / 1933". The autograph is very slightly smudged due to the glossy quality of the paper. The photo appears to have been cut from a larger sheet. The date of the photo itself, Jan. 3, 1933, is penciled in an undetermined hand on the verso. There are 2 tape marks on the verso from having once been mounted. Very good.
