Among the contents of this issue is the first appearance of a P. G. Wodehouse short story " A Triple Threat Man", published in his collection of stories "Lord Emsworth and Others" in London in 1937. In this collection the story is titled "There's Always Golf". Formidable woman golfer Clarice Fitch encounters Ernest Plinlimmon on the eighteenth fairway: "When a forceful woman comes between a man and a coveted tournament medal, she sees the true depth of his soul".
Also in this issue are a novel, "Leisure to Repent", by Ursula Parrott; a novelette by Alec Waugh, "Ring Out the Old"; and a Morley Callaghan short story: "It Must Be Different!". Very good .
