Laid in are 3 plates, 2 of them copies of the same black-and-white line drawing of a screech owl sitting on a branch and another in flight with a small animal in its claws & the other a version of the same picture by R. Bruce Horsfall in color. The text pages are illustrated in black & white with 6 vignettes & an illustration down the right side of the first page. The corners of the pages are lightly creased & the edges of the text pages are very slightly darkened. There is a tiny black mark on 1 of the line drawings. Good.
