Description: New York, March 17, 1933. 1933. - An inscription signed by Montague Glass on creamy white 4 inch high by 5 inch wide "Town House" card stock. "For Mrs Elinor Ann Schloss / Montague Glass / March 17, 1933". There are remnants of mounting tape to the verso. Very good with the original mailing envelope.

The British-born American author Montague Glass (1877-1934) graduated from New York University Law School and practiced law while writing stories on the side. The turning point in his career came following the serialization of "Potash and Perlmutter: Their Copartnership Ventures and Adventures" in the New York Evening Post in 1909. Very good .
