Tels Quels, founded in 1979, is an LGBT association formed by gays and Socialist militants. Under the leadership of Luc-Daniel Dupire Tels Quels organized the first Gay and Lesbian Film Festival of Brussels in 1981. In that same year the monthly news magazine Tels Quels was founded in an attempt to present a positive image of the gay life style. The periodical's editor, Luc Legrand, describes it as "Le magazine des gays et des lesbiennes."
Laid in is an illustrated Tels Quels brochure advertising the January 1987 issue of the magazine.
The text of the magazine is in French.
