Lawrence Tibbett [1896-1968] was a famous American opera singer and recording artist. A baritone, he sang leading roles with the Metropolitan Opera in New York City more than 600 times between 1923 and 1950. He also performed a number of musical theatre roles, including Captain Hook in a touring production of Peter Pan. Good .
