Catalog for an exhibition of paintings and drawings by Alfredo d'Andrade and of his architectural restoration work. The exhibition was curated by Matteo Leonetti Luparini, who also contributed to the catalog text. It was held in the summer and fall of 1999 at Castello d'Ussei and the Chateau d'Ussei in the Valle d'Aosta Region of Italy.

Alfredo d'Andrade [1839-1915] was an architect, archaeologist and painter. He was born in Lisbon, but Italian citizenship was conferred on him three years before his death. Besides his architectural restoration work in Valle d'Aosta, he was also responsible for restorations in Genoa, Piedmont and Savona.
