[1912]. - Quarto [11-3/8 inches high by 8-1/8 inches wide], softcover bound in pictorial cream-colored wrappers with a drawing by the Irish American artist John Frew in brown on each cover. The covers are slightly darkened & lightly soiled with a few tiny chips & some very light creasing. There is a stain to the left margin of the front cover. 16 pages, including 1 page of music & lyrics [the song "Oh! What a Night"] and 11 pages of photographs of the cast members in brown & cream in decorative frames. The contents are very good.
The London version of this production opened at the Lyric Theatre on December 30, 1911. The Broadway production was presented by the Shubert Brothers at the Casino Theatre for 135 performances, opening on August 20, 1912 and closing on December 14 of that year. The New York cast of this musical based on "Die Fledermaus" starred Jose Collins as Countess Rosalinda Cliquot, Forrest Huff as Count Max Cliquot and Maurice Farkoa as Gabor Szabo. The Dolly sisters, Yancsi and Rozsika, played Adele and Felice.
