The cloth along the front edge of the rear cover is chipped. xi, [i] & 484 pages. Illustrated in black & white with a portrait frontispiece with a tissue guard, 5 full-page & textual illustrations & music staves. The book is cracked at the frontispiece. There is a previous owner's bookplate on the flyleaf & the tissue guard is creased. Some top page corners are lightly bumped and there is additional light creasing, with a small stains, especially to the preliminaries. A good working copy. Fair .
