The rear wrap is foxed & lightly soiled. There is some minor foxing & creasing to the front wrap. Title & 57 pages. The top right corner of the title page is lightly soiled & there are a few red pen markings in the margins of some pages. Good.

Righter notes in his foreword: "This treatise presents what is believed to be an innovative approach to the problems of improving the intonation of violin and other string players..The theory articulated herein is actually a refinement of the generally accepted pattern of half-step and whole-step intervals employed in the construction of scale forms. It introduces a new measure or exactitude--the musical comma, which is an extremely small pitch differential. The comma may be said to represent the difference between a large half-step and a small half-step. In practical use, this is the difference between a chromatic half-step and a diatonic half-step... Good .
