Description: New-York: Board of Publication of the Reformed Protestant Dutch Church, 1857. 1857. - Octavo, brown cloth titled in gilt on spine & in gilt within decorative gilt frame on front cover with decorative frames stamped in blind on both covers. The covers are bumped, rubbed & spotted; the tail of the spine is chipped with a piece out of the head & tears to the mid-section; the gilt titling on the spine is faded. 100 pp. with small errata sheet tipped in. Illustrated in B&W with engraved frontispiece, extra engraved vignette title & 8 engraved plates. The edges of the prelims are darkened & there is a pencil notation on the front pastedown; the top corners of a few leaves are creased; there is foxing to the margins of some plates & light foxing & soiling to some other pages. Good. Good .
