Reynolds & Co. 1852. 1852. - Small octavo [5-5/8 inches high by 4 inches wide], limp green paper covered boards with decorations in black on the front board & an illustration in black on the rear board. The binding is rubbed, chipped & creased with the joints split & pieces out of the spine. 63 pages; and 60 pages. Illustrated in black & white with 4 plates, including a frontispiece, 15 full-page illustrations & 10 vignettes. There is an owner's ink inscription & a later owner's stamp on the front pastedown & the lower half of the front endpaper is lacking. The rear endpaper is torn & creased & there are tears & creases to the front edge of the last text page. There is foxing throughout. Fair.

Rare. WorldCat locates only 2 copies. However, one of these (the Morgan Library copy), is probably an error and is in reality an 1842 book. Fair .
