Description: Washington, DC: Government Printing Office, 1905. 1905. - Quarto, 11-3/4 inches high by 9 inches wide. Bound in gray boards backed with brown calf, titled in gilt on the front cover. The spine has been crudely repaired with green tape. The covers are bumped, soiled and heavily rubbedand the front edges of the boards are reinforced with scotch tape. xxiii & 517 pages, illustrated with 12 engravings. The front hinge is reinforced with linen tape and there is staining to the edges of the endpapers. Very good internally with the engravings in very nice attractive condition.

Includes an etching of Gardiner Greene Hubbard by George Eyster, and engravings of works by Baccio Baldini, Albrecht Durer, Claude Gellee, Hendirk Goltzius, Rembrandt Harmensz Van Ryn, and James McNeill Whistler, among others. Good .
