The leather is rubbed & scuffed with a piece out of the head of the spine. Much of the marbled surface of the boards is rubbed away. viii & 86 pages. There is a contemporary ink notation on the front pastedown & a small area of the pastedown's surface is rubbed away. There is occasional light foxing with a small piece out of the rear blank. Ex-library with a blind stamp on the title page & the library's name stamped in gilt on the spine. Good.

A dismissive review in the Spectator of Augus 5, 1965 describes the book as "Thoroughly Kingsleian, and not very satisfactory".
Scarce in commerce. Good .
