Description: New York: The Fuchs & Lang Manufacturing Company, 1911. 1911. - Small quarto [approximately 10-1/4 inches high by 8 inches wide, maroon cloth titled in gilt. The binding is lightly rubbed & bumped with the head & tail of the spine slightly chipped. There are a few small white stains to the covers. xii & 229 pages plus colophon, partially unopened. Tipped-in brown & cream portrait frontispiece & 1 black-and-white plate. The pages are slightly rippled, else very good.

Alois Senfelder, the inventor of lithography, wrote this story of his life and of his invention in 1817. Good .
