Published on the occasion of an exhibition held at the Villa Medici, Accademia di Francia, Rome from February 19 to March 25, 1987. The subject of the exhibition was Sartre's relationship to art and artists--including Tintoretto, Giacometti, Calder and Wols. The catalog, edited by Michel Sicard and subtitled Hommage to Jean-Paul Sartre, has a prefatory discussion between Sicard and Jean-Marie Drot and quotations from Sartre's wriitngs on art. The text is in French and Italian. Very good .
