Softcover, bound in printed tan paper wraps titled in black on the front cover. The fragile covers are soiled and chipped with a few short tears to the edges and joints. A piece lacking from the bottom front corner of the front cover has been repaired with nearly matching paper. Easily removed plastic protects the wraps. 224 & [2] pages, illustrated with 15 plates. There are tape stains to the half-title and to the rear blank. Else, an internally very good partially unopened copy.
First edition, limited to 400 numbered copies of this work on the role of the French Provencal navy in the American Revolution.
