The binding is rubbed & bumped with some small white stains to the front cover. The spine is faded with its titling completely faded. 215 & [1] deckle-edged pages. Illustrated in black & white with 6 plates, including a portrait frontispiece, & with full-page illustrations. The gutters are darkened & there is a bookseller's sticker on the front pastedown with a previous owner's ink name & date on the front endpaper. 1 plate is detached. There is light staining to the margins of the frontispiece & the half-title & title pages and the inner edges of the pages are slightly darkened throughout. Good.

The title page of Harrington's English verse version, published in 1608, reads: "The Englishmans Doctor. Or, The Schoole of Salerne. Or, Physicall observations for the perfect Preserving of the body of Man in continuall health". The Latin text of Regimen Sanitatis Salernitanum is also included in the book. Good .
