This copy is inscribed and signed by the Kingston city historian A. T. Clearwater to Lieutenant William M. Clearwater on the title page. Clipped to the booklet is a typed letter signed, sending it to Lieutenant William M. Clearwater with the original mailing envelope: "Dear William: I send you a copy of the proceedings relative to the Celebration of the Fiftieth Anniversary of the incorporation of Kingston as a City, not because I delivered an address, but for that you may find some of the historical data worth preservation for future reference.." The letter is typed on a sheet of Clearwater's personalized letterhead and is dated "August 31st, 1922. Very good .
