The page corners are bumped & there is occasional light foxing. Overall, a very good, attractive copy.

The Italian text of "Ernani" by Francesco Maria Piave is based on the drama "Hernani" by Victor Hugo. It is here printed with an English translation. Though a title in Ditson's "Standard Opera Libretto" series, there is printed music on part of 17 pages. The handsome engraved ad on the rear wrap depicts Oliver Ditson & Co.'s building in Boston. Good .
