From the library of Peter Matthiessen. Laid in is a form letter on "Friends of Chimfunshi" letterhead from Doug Cress asking Matthiessen for a "jacket blurb" for the book. The letter is signed "D. W. Cress" in ink. Also laid in is a leaflet about the orphanage. Fine .
