Dotson Rader recounts his experiences as a leftist and protester in the sixties. As the decade progressed, he describes himself as becoming a "radical democratic-socialist" who participated in most of the major events of the New Left and antiwar movements. In the early seventies he was overtaken by disillusionment and fatigue and a sense of the failure of ideas, imagination and community action. Very good .
