Black-and-white photographic illustrations and reproductions in color and black & white of paintings and graphic works by Arnold Schoenberg, Gustav Klimt, Oskar Kokoschka, Egon Schiele and Richard Gerstl. The contents are fine. Very good.
Published on the occasion of an exhibition shown at the Galerie St. Etienne, New York from November 13, 1984 to January 5, 1985. This is a study of the paintings of Arnold Schoenberg, created between 1908 and 1912, and his relationships with such contemporaries as Richard Gerstl, Gustav Klimt, Egon Schiele and Oskar Kokoschka.
