A three-page introduction on Soviet publishing explains that every year during the spring school vacation a tradition "Children's Book Week" is held in the Soviet Union. Activities include conferences of children's writers and their readers, literary parties and gatherings, book exhibits and large-scale book bazaars. The introduction concludes: "We express our sincere appreciation to the American public for its great interest and co-operation in organising the present exhibition and hope that this constructive project will serve to further the cultural co-operation between our two countries". This pamphlet thus appears to have prepared by a Soviet organization to accompany an exhibition in America. Very good .
