The binding is lightly bumped with a small, light stain near the head of the spine. The dust jacket is rubbed & chipped with the front panel & spine unevenly faded. There is a small stain to the rear panel & a tear to its bottom edge. The head of the jacket spine is torn with a large piece out. xxii, [iv] & 326 pages. Black-and-white portrait frontispiece, black-and- white illustrations & endpaper maps. There is some light foxing to the prelims with a tiny tear to the front edge of the front pastedown. Very good in a fair dust wrapper.

Inscribed by the author on the half-title on the date of publication and signed "Jim Horan".

Horan's book tells the story of "the Great Confederate Conspiracy that came close to destroying the Union from within, and of its mastermind, Captain Thomas H. Hines, C.S.A." [dust wrapper copy]. Good .
