The book is housed in its original dust wrapper with a photographic illustration of a Japanese sculpture on the front panel. The price-clipped dust jacket is soiled and rubbed with several chips and small tears to the edges and a few larger pieces torn away from the top and bottom edges of the jacket's front and rear panels. xi & 252 pages, with textual illustrations, 60 full-page black & white plates and 40 tipped-in color plates. The edges of the pages are slightly darkened, the edges of a couple of the color plates are rubbed, and a previous owner's name is penned on the front endpaper. Very good in a fair dust wrapper.
