The celebrated American actress known as Mrs. Leslie Carter played Madame du Barry in David Belasco's play "Du Barry". This special edition of Ford's account of Du Barry's life includes the full credits for the production at the Belasco Theatre, a preface by Belasco, three plates from designs for the theatre, and portraits of Carter and Belasco. Very good .
