Illustrated in black & white with a portrait frontispiece with a tissue guard in each volume & with a facsimile plate & a map. There is an owner's signature on the front pastedown of each volume. There is a light crease to each of the last few leaves of Vol. 1 with a tiny tear to the front edge of the rear endpaper. There is foxing & staining throughout both volumes. Good.
