Description: Brooklyn, New York: Privately Printed, 1873. 1873. - Quarto, 12 inches high by 9-5/8 inches wide. Unbound sheets including 2 blank leaves, 83 pages, numbered [i] to lxxxiii, consisting of loose unopened signatures together with 4 full-page plates. There is some foxing and offsetting as well as a couple of tiny chips to the edges of the first blank leaf. The edges of the leaves are slightly darkened. The last blank page is heavily soiled and darkened and there is some slight staining to the top edges of the last 3 pages of text. Good.

This work was published as a limited edition of only 75 copies printed. It is an appendix to the author's "Recollections of a Busy Life".

This unbound copy appears to be a proof copy in that there is no colophon leaf. A bound version of this work was published with an additional portrait.
