Title: Pandora in the Never Never: A Drama by George Patterson,
Description: N.p. [Sydney, Australia}: (G. Patterson), n.d. [1950s]. n.d. [1950s]. - Small quarto [8 inches high by 6-1/2 inches wide], softcover bound in printed vermilion wraps. The wraps are faded along the spine & slightly bumped. There is a light stain to the front wrap with some horizontal black marks to the rear wrap. Title, [3] leaves & 55 mimeogrqphed pages. There is a light crease to each of the first few leaves with a very few pencil marks in the margins. Good.

First [and only] edition.

Inscribed at the top of the title page "To Joan and Bim at Bearsville" but not signed, and dated 12 April 1960. The recipient, "Bim", is James Pond, head of the Pond Lecture Bureau.

George Patterson is best known for his Australian fishing book "Chasing Rainbows". His modern version of the story of Pandora is set in vast wilderness of Central Australia, sometimes known as the Never Never Land.
