Pages [249-328 & 3 pages plus ads. Black-and-white illustrations & pictorial ads. The page corners are creased & there is occasional foxing & soiling. Good.

Together with a supplement bound in at the front: PHRENOLOGICAL JOURNAL SUPPLEMENT; Institute Extra. Devoted to the interests of the American Institute of Phrenology. No. 1. October. 1876. 10 & [1] pages plus 5-page publisher's catalog, unopened. 1 black-and-white illustration. There is a small stain to the top corner of the first page & there are creases to the bottom corners of the first 3 leaves. Good.

The American supplement is rare.
