The poet Edward Steese (d.1981) was also an architect who was involved in the preservation of New York City's historic and architectural landmarks in the 1950's and 60's. In addition to several volumes of poetry, Steese compiled the book "New York Landmarks 1957" listing and documenting the city's architecturally historic buildings. Very good .
