The binding is lightly rubbed & bumped with small dents in the top & bottom edges of the front cover. 521 pages plus 4-page publisher's catalog with an erratum slip tipped in. The rear endpaper is lacking with some small tears to the paper of the rear pastedown. There is a short tear to the inner edge of the rear blank & small pieces out of its bottom edge. Illustrated with a black-and-white frontispiece & a tail-piece. Despite its flaws, a very attractive, good copy.
