The boards of the book are somewhat soiled and rubbed, and the binding is sl. sprung; else good condition. The dust jacket is torn, soiled, and chipped. Some conservation has been performed, with archival-quality clear tape and acetate, but it is still only in poor to fair condition. Very fanciful colour dust jacket by G. W. Goss. A title in the Methuen 'half-crown' novel series. .
