I is hanging by a thread; vol. II similar. Bumped, heavily scuffed, and spotted. The first and last pages of both volumes are quite foxed. A few early pencil notations to one or two pages of the text. Contents, otherwise, generally clean and still tight. Priced accordingly. The first complete American edition (so stated on title page), although there is apparently an 1832 American edition. .
