This volume originated from the library of The Hudson's Bay Record Society, in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The only library markings are a trace of a small rectangular library label on the spine, and a neatly lettered 'vol. 9' on the spine (this being volume IX of the Hudson's Bay Company Series), and a faint, small rectangular label marking on the ffep. The spine is a bit sunned, with very slight scuffing and corner wear to the boards. The binding is a bit shaken, but still tight. Internally, the pages are very clean and unmarked. Overall, a good plus, to very good copy. This copy is No. 56 of a limited edition of 550, issued only to Members of the Society. Top edge gilt. .
