Original blue wrappers. 40 pp. The fire began in the backyard of the Cornerhouse at Paramaribo and quickly advanced to an old storage building full of flammable material. A hard-blowing northeastern wind intensified the fire, which ignited one house after another. It lasted for about 24 hours. Nearly 400 mansions and about 800 storerooms and dwellings were burned to the ground. Published for the benefit of the unfortunate inhabitants of Paramaribo.
