(28) pp. From Recueil van de tractaten, 's Gravenhage, ca. 1700. - Latin edition of the Treaty of Breda 31 July 1667, by England, the United Provinces, France, and Denmark-Norway. It brought an end to the Second Anglo-Dutch War (1665-1667) in favour of the Dutch. England, however, received New Netherland (New York, New Jersey) and some outposts in Africa from the Dutch, the Dutch retained Suriname. Including references to American commerce and colonies.
