Six divisions in one binding, illustrated with eighteen photogravure plates by Victorian well known Dickens' illustrator Frederick Barnard, illustrating character sketches, as well as other illustrations in text. Includes a handwritten dedication in red ink by GODFRIED BOMANS, founder of the Haarlem Dickens Fellowship, on the former owner and Dickens Scholar William J. Carlton, at the first free endpaper.
