Description: Gelatine silver prints, 25,3 x 20,2 cms. Artist's stamp + title and signature by Sheenan in pen on the reverse. One photo shows a very faint fold of approx. 11 cms. Only sold as a collection. 'Elena Sheehan was born in China of Russian parents. Raised in San Francisco, she received her BA from the University of California, Berkeley. She studied photography with Nathan Lyons at the Visual Studies Workshop in Rochester, New York and with Arthur Siegel at the Institute of Design, Illinois Institute of Technology, where she received her MS in 1978. Active in the photographic community in Chicago and the San Francisco Bay Area, she has taught at San Francisco City College and the University of California Extension Division. Her work has been exhibited and published in Korea, Italy, Greece, Germany, France, Belgium, Mexico as well as in the United States'.
