Complete with many full page lithogr. illustrations of various musical instruments, in colour and black and white. The book counts 177 official pages but has numerous plates in between. Depicted are violins, a dulcephone, guitars, bandurias, mandolines, balailakas, zithers, (Japanese) fiddles, banjos, zither banjos, dulcimers, auto-harps, brass instruments like cornets, saxhorns, trombones, horns, clarionets, bassons, saxophones, musettes, bagpipes, different kinds of flutes, like piccolos and flageolets, drums like bass drums, tenor and side drums, xylophones, mouth organs, vampers, accordions (German, duretta, Italian, Vienna), concertinas, etc. etc. (ask for pictures!) Full giltstamped cloth, edges are worn, some damage to the spine, a corner from the front fly leaf is missing (appr. 5 x 15 cm), causing a discolourisation on the upper right corner of the title page, some rust on the pages, generally in good condition. all pictures very pictures!
